The luxury boutique TOYS for BOYS is in the news again as co-founder Danilo Diaz Granados organizing an imagination defying event for their highly select guests. The July event was held in Miami and featured a stunning list of experiences including fine cuisine, once in a lifetime previews, helicopter rides, laps around a professional racetrack, and even sunset on the deck of luxury yachts. When asked to describe the purpose of such events, Mr. Granados explained that they were meant to be singular experiences that couldn’t be replicated and exposed their hand-picked guests to the finest things Miami had to offer.
TOYS for BOYS was founded in 2013 by Danilo Diaz Granados and his partners. The intent of the company is to service the Latino community with the finest luxury items such as contemporary art, watches, jewelry, and exotic automobiles in a single stop shop. In addition to this high-end client service the company also holds events to showcase lifestyle and products to their select members with the assistance of their sponsors such as Dom Perignon, Van Dutch, and Technomar. As part of these events, guests will sometimes get exclusive access to locations not yet open to the public, such as luxury residential buildings in Biscayne area of Miami.
During the July event hosted by Mr. Granados, some guests were invited to an early private breakfast at Dame Zaha Hadid’s One Thousand Museum sales center. Afterward, they were treated to a helicopter ride to the Palm Beach Race Track where guests were allowed to do a timed lap. The day still wasn’t over though as they had a late lunch at River Yacht Club on the Miami River hosted by Dom Perignon and ended the day on luxury yachts viewing the sunset.
